Essouira Festival "GNAWA 2004, Music of The world "
Once again the Festival of Essaouira, with its music, culture and seminars, brings together traditional and contemporary perspectives of Morocco with those of the rest of the world.
Since its creation in 1998 it has inspired a unique and multi-faceted cultural exchange. At the heart of the event is the mystical tradition of Gnawa music with all its magical diversity. However, the Festival of Essaouira also draws on other cultures and artistic traditions with symposiums and debates, exhibitions, literature and poetry.Essaouira invites musicians from all over the world. As well as Jazz,Rock, Pop and traditional music from distant cultures the festival also offers new discoveries.

Montreux jazz Festival 2004
The 38th edition of the Festival is indisputably an exceptional one: the hot temperatures and the quality of the concerts creating a very high attendance level. For 17 evenings, the Auditorium Stravinski hosts many memorable performances with, among many others, Morcheeba, George Benson, Bonnie Raitt, Tom McRae, Craig David, Chico César, Herbert Grönemeyer, Joao Gilberto, Lisa Stansfield, ZZ Top and Krokus. Some of the artists who've already performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival are back this summer, such as Jethro Tull, Yes, Gilberto Gil, Maria Bethânia, Natalie Cole, Noa, The Crusaders, Randy Crawford, Van Morrisson, The Pretenders, Simply Red, Jamiroquai, etc. The big event this year is without contest Radiohead that certainly didn't disappoint the happy few who attended the concert.

Fez Festival of World Sacred Music
Welcome to the Fes Festival of World Sacred Music. This website will provide you with all the information concerning the Festival's 10th edition, which will take place from May 28th to June 5th 2004.
Come live or rediscover these events that have made of Fes and its Festival a place where blows a spirit of dialogue and sharing: the concerts of world sacred music set in prestigious venues, the "Rencontres de Fes" colloquium concerning the role of spirituality in globalization, the films and exhibitions, and also the many activities throughout the city of Fes with concerts on the Bab Boujloud square, children's educational activities and the famous Sufi nights at Dar Tazi.

Blue Note Festival 2004
The Blue Note Festival is organized by VZW Jazz en Muziek in Gent in collaboration with the City of Ghent and Blue Note (EMI), the trendsetting jazz label since the 1940's. To celebrate the Festival, Blue Note-EMI released the cd All That Jazz ! - Blue Note Festival Edition 2004 in July. A unique introduction to the Festival, with contributions by artists connected with Blue Note and performing during the Ghent Festival

 he Africa Festival has become Europes largest festival of African music and culture. 122 000 visitors have come to Würzburgs Mainwiesen in 2002 to witness the black continents cultural wealth and zest for life.
Because of its great success in Germany, the Africa Festival has now found a few copiers of varying quality. To avoid confusion, the name and logo are now licensed. The dancing figures with the name Africa Festival will not only now, but also in the future be a guarantee of a high quality in music and background program.
We'd like to thank our visitors cordially here who stood by us on sunny and rainy days and who have made it possible that this festival has always been a peaceful and lively togetherness.

 The Tunisians "joie de vivre" is reflected in their festivals. Even the smallest village sets aside a time for celebration whether it be for the summer harvest, fishing season, a local saint, or the arrival of Spring.

The Saharian Festival is of special interest to those who dream of the vast expanse of dunes and sober beauty of the Sahara.
Douz; the gateway to the desert, offers an authentic and genuine picture of desert traditions, folk art and customs. The village itself, surrounded by sand dunes, is the departure point for the Mehares and Saharian safaris. A unique adventure awaits you.
The International Music Festival is held for long evenings in the El Jem Coliseum. An unforgetable experience of hearing the music of renowned artists and symphonic orchestras in the outstanding setting of the majestic Roman coliseum in a mild summer night.
